You must request a return authorization number from us within 30 days after receiving your order. It can take 5-10 business days to process your refund once we receive your return.
If the exchange items are needed urgently due to an upcoming event, be sure to let us know and we will provide you with alternative options!
Returnable conditions: Keep items in a good condition, unwashed and undamaged. All final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Any return or exchange will be only valid when it is accepted by our customer service center. Any item is returned without prior authorization will not be accepted and no credit of any kind will be issued.


We offer refunds on all products unless the product is marked Final Sale or Special Order. All returns for refunds are subject to a 10% stocking fee. Restocking fees are deducted from your final refund amount. Please keep in mind you are responsible for the return shipping cost. In the event your package is damaged during shipping, let us know right away so we can file a claim with the carrier. We will either ship you a replacement or issue a refund after the claim is granted.

Return Policy (custom made dresses)

Once your package has arrived, we encourage you to open and check to make sure that the dress that we made meets your requirement. Try your dress on as soon as possible without removing the tags, altering, or washing the dress.

1) All our dresses are tailored by experienced professionals and hand-made accordingly. Each dress goes through quality-inspection four times before being shipped out to minimize such problems from arising. Because each dress is hand-made, there will be at most a 5% difference between the product picture and the product you receive.

2) indiefit accepts a partial or complete refund for the item that has problem due to our carelessness. That means we cannot warrant a refund if the problem of the item is not caused by indiefit.

Specific Policies for Our Items


The settings of your computer screen may alter the color of the pictures shown on indiefit. Slight color mismatches between the color of your dress and the color shown on screen may not mean that the dress is defective or mis-shipped. And the pictures in the page are only for reference, the color can not be 100% the same, we can only assure 90% similarity with the models. However, if you are confident that you have received the item in a wrong color, please provide the photos as a proof and contact us to ask for a full refund or dress exchange.


As all of our dresses are hand-sewn and customized, the finished gown may vary by approximately one inch in either direction of the specified measurements. To ensure that your dress will fit you perfectly, our tailors have reserved additional fabric in the seams to allow minor modifications.

1) Size Deviation

If your dress size differs from the specifications of your order by more than one inch, we encourage you to find a local tailor to make adjustments, and we will gladly reimburse you for up to 100% of the product price in tailoring costs. If you choose this option, please remember to request a receipt from your tailor. Copy of the receipt must be provided when requesting reimbursement.

2) Dress is the size you ordered but does not fit

Please understand that dresses that do not fit properly but in accordance with the specifications you ordered cannot be returned or exchanged. You can go to a local tailor or a professional seamstress to have the dress re-sized at your own cost: Please note that if your order specifications differ too greatly from the final sizing request, re-sizing may not be possible.

Return not accepted if:

  1. Washed or worn items, or items that have been damaged by your usage.
  2. Items lacking original labels, price tags and packaging.
  3. Items lacking accessories that were sold together with the original product.
  4. Gift with purchase that do not have quality issues.
  5. Merchandise that exceeded the returns timeframe.
  6. No returns and no exchanges for personalized items.
  7. No returns and no exchanges for perishables, earrings (including jewelry sets containing earrings), and personal care items (including bra, etc) due to hygienic reasons.

Time Frame

Products with quality-related issues may be returned for a refund by contacting us within 7 days after receiving your order.

Please understand us, all of our dresses are high quality handmade, and have no dresses in store. So if you return the dress, it would be useless, and can never be sold again.

Order Cancellation

We understand that it is a very important undertaking to order a dress for your special occasion, and our cancellation policy was formulated with this in mind. However, it is important to note that our dresses are made to order. Once the tailoring process has begun, the materials cannot be reused. Please be informed that after placing your order, there is still time to change your mind. For details, please refer to our cancellation policy below.
